The exhibition guided visitors through a winding, corridor-shaped architectural intervention in Simian’s main exhibition space. Across the installation, eighty-two works hung, spanning more than a decade of\u00a0Laura Langer\u2019s practice, in a non-chronological\u00a0order. Many of the paintings were reactivated from storage for the occasion, addressing questions around speed of production, circulation, personal motivation, and public evaluation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Mirroring the exhibition\u2019s spatial logic,\u00a0this\u00a0publication unfolds through a sequence of installation views,\u00a0details, and reproductions that emphasize the\u00a0heterogeneity and\u00a0shifting visual languages within Langer\u2019s painterly practice. New connections and dialogues emerge between works originally produced in different periods and contexts, allowing recurring gestures, forms, and internal contradictions to surface across time.<\/p>\n
